Each mat board is cut to your exact window size, making it easy to create a clean, professional finish for photography, prints, certificates, or decorative artwork. Mat boards (also called photo mounts, window mats or matt boards) help elevate your presentation while protecting your image from touching the glass.

Our acid-free matboards are available in a wide range of fixed standard outer sizes - including A4, A3, 8x10, 11x14, and more - sized to fit common picture frames. Choose your preferred colour and enter your custom window opening for a perfect fit around your artwork.

Each matboard is professionally precision-cut in our Sydney workshop using a Swiss-made computerised mat cutter. They feature a clean 45-degree white bevel, are 4-ply (1.4mm thick), and arrive individually sealed in protective cello bags.

How to Order Cut-to-Size Mat Boards:

• Step 1 – Choose your preferred matboard colour
• Step 2 – Select an outer size based on our fixed standard frame sizes (e.g. A4, 8x10", 11x14", etc.)
• Step 3 – Enter your required window opening size for your photo or artwork

Important Notes:

• Window openings are cut slightly smaller than your specified size (by approx. 3–5mm) to allow for artwork overlap
• Window will be centred by default and follow the orientation (portrait or landscape) of your selected outer size, unless noted otherwise in the order notes
• We cannot offer custom outer sizes or multi-window openings
• All sizes in cm are approximate conversions from inches
• Made to order – please allow approx. 1 week for production
• Colour appearance may vary slightly due to screen differences
