Unlike typical Australian frame sizes, IKEA® dimensions can be difficult to match with off-the-shelf mats. Our matboards are cut precisely to suit IKEA®’s most popular frame sizes, so you can frame confidently, with a perfect fit every time.
Each matboard is precision-cut in our Sydney workshop using professional Swiss-made cutting equipment. Featuring a crisp 45-degree white bevel, they are made from acid-free, 4-ply (1.4mm thick) board for durability and archival protection.
How to Order Custom Mat Boards for IKEA® Frames
- Step 1: Choose your matboard colour.
- Step 2: Select your IKEA® frame size (outside dimensions are fixed to match IKEA® frames).
- Step 3: Enter your required image or artwork dimensions (window size) into the fields provided.
Important Ordering Notes
- The window will be cut slightly smaller than your image size to allow a 3–5mm overlap for secure positioning.
- The window is centred by default and aligned to the orientation (portrait or landscape) of your frame, unless noted otherwise in your order comments.
- We cannot customise the outer frame size - only the internal window size is adjustable.
- Each mat board is made to order. Please allow up to one week for production.
- Colours shown may vary slightly due to screen differences.
